BRING HOME THE ESSENCE OF MALABAR : ORGANIC MALABAR PAROTA
A parota, or malabari parotta is a layered flatbread, originating from the Indian subcontinent, made from maida flour, popular in Southern India. It is a common street food originating from Kerala and also found in other states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and major cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi etc. At some places it is also served at weddings, religious festivals and feasts. It is prepared by kneading maida flour, egg (in some recipes), oil or ghee and water. The dough is beaten into thin layers and later forming a round spiral into a ball using these thin layers. The ball is rolled flat and pan fried. Almost as popular as the backwaters, the elephants and the lush greenery, is the Malabar parota. And iD Fresh have packaged this warm, crispy delight from God’s own country to serve up a treat for you and your family. So all you need to do is just open a packet and turn the tava on, heat the Malabar Parota by also adding few drops of oil or ghee from sides to make it more crisp. Serve immediately with vegetable kurma or any curry.
Usage & Shelf Life :
Refrigerate at 0-5°C. Bring the parota to room temperature before using it. Consume within 5 days after opening the packet.
